TIMELINE

The Bee Geesbutton.gif (123 bytes) The 3 brothers Gibb, Barry and twins, Maurice and Robin - the Bee Gees - hailed from Manchester, England and were raised in Australia for 8 years. While in Australia, the brothers began performing together, first as the Gibbs and then as the BG's before settling on the Bee Gees. The Bee Gees returned to England with 2 additional members in their group - Vince Melouney on guitar and Colin Peterson on drums. The Bee Gees would eventually return as a trio/brother group and hit it big during the disco age of the 1970s with their contributions to the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.
