The Foo
Fighters consists of Dave Grohl on guitar and
vocal, Nate Mendel on bass, Taylor Hawkins on
drums, and Chris Shiflett on guitar. Grohl
formed the group in late 1994 (after finding
large-scale success with Nirvana) with
original members Mendel, Pat Smear on guitar
(replaced later by Franz Stahl) and William
Goldsmith on drums (replaced later by
Hawkins).
