
Jason Mraz was born June 23, 1977 in Virginia. After
studying musical theater and briefly attending the
American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York,
Mraz continued his music interests and songwriting
until signing with Elektra Records in 2002. Prior to
his label signing, Mraz fine-tuned his music in the
local music spots of San Diego.
