The Fray formed in 2002 in
Denver with Isaac Slade on vocals and piano,
Joe King on guitar and vocals, Ben Wysocki on
drums, and Dave Welsh on guitar. The band
signed with Epic Records in 2004.
 The Fray released the EP Reason independently.
