MEMBERS: Brendon Urie, Spencer
Smith (left in 2015), Brent Wilson (left in
2006), Ryan Ross (left in 2009), Jon Walker
(left in 2009), Dallon Weekes (2010 to 2015)
Panic! At The Disco began
in Las Vegas with friends Ryan Ross on guitar and
Spencer Smith on drums. The duo added Brent
Wilson on bass and Brendon Urie on vocals and
guitar. Their big break came by having their
music heard by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, and after a
meeting, the group was signed by Fueled by Ramen
Records. By 2015, Panic! At The Disco was more of
a solo project for Urie as members had the left
the group the over the years.
May 17: Bassist Brent Wilson left
the group (saying later he was fired) and Jon
Walker was named temporary bassist while on tour
and eventually a member of the group.
April 12: Panic! At The Disco
topped the Billboard Top Internet Albums chart
for 1 week, Top Rock Albums chart for 1 week, and
Alternative Albums chart for 1 week with Pretty.

February 8: Panic! At The Disco were
nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Boxed or Special
Limited Edition Package (Pretty.

with Alex Kirzhner).
July 6: It was announced that
Ross and Walker would be leaving the group to
"...embark on a musical excurcion of their
own..." Smith, the group's founder, and Urie
will continue as Panic! At The Disco.
August 25: Panic! At The Disco could
be heard on the soundtrack for Jennifer's
Body
on the track "New Perspective."
January 15: Panic! At The Disco
released Death
Of A Bachelor which Urie described as "a mix
between Sinatra and Queen..."
February 6: Panic! At The Disco
topped the Billboard 200 LP chart for 1 week,
Album Sales chart for 1 week, Digital Albums
chart for 1 week, Rock Album chart for 1 week,
and Alternative Albums chart for 2 weeks with Death
Of A Bachelor.
June 30: Panic! At The Disco
topped the Billboard Alternative Songs chart for
1 week with "Say Amen (Saturday
Night)."
July 7: Panic! At The Disco
