 The Beach Boys dominated the US
charts in the 1960s while the British
invasion was a strong force. The roots of the
Beach Boys started in California in 1961 with
the brothers Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson,
their cousin Mike Love, and a friend, Alan
Jardine.


Jardine quit the band to return
to college. He was replaced by David Lee
Marks.

he had a nervous breakdown. This led to a
