  Enya was born Eithne Ni
Bhraonain on Mary 17, 1961 in Ireland. Before
she turned 20 and after years of studying
classical music, Enya joined the group Clannad
made up of her brothers, uncles, and sister.
She decided to go solo in 1982. Early musical
work included working on the music for The
Frog Prince and a BBC documentary.
