- Jack Harlow, born on March 13, 1998, hails from Kentucky. Jack began rapping when he was 12 resulting in his first mixtape using the name 'Mr. Harlow' followed by another mixtape with some friends calling themselves 'Moose Gang'. When Jack was 17, he released the first commercial EP: The Hansome Harlow. Jack released several mixtapes prior to his commercial breakthrough in 2020 including Extra Credit, Finally Handsome, 18, Gazebo, Loose, and Confetti.
- July 18: Jack hit the ARC Weekly Top 40 with "What's Poppin." The single had gained popularity on TikTok and with a remix version that featured DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne.
- July 18: Jack topped the Billboard Rhythmic Songs chart for 1 week with "What's Poppin."
- August 15: Jack topped the Billboard Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart for 2 weeks with "What's Poppin."
- August 30: Jack was nominated for a MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist.
