TIMELINE

Limp Bizkitbutton.gif (123 bytes) Limp Bizkit formed in 1994, hail from Florida, and consist of Fred Durst on vocals, We Borland on guitar, Sam Rivers on bass, John Otto on drums and DJ Lethal. The lucky break for the band came when Durst struck up a friendship with Korn's Fieldy after giving him a tattoo and later a demo tape. With a mix of hard rock and hip-hop, Limp Bizkit fit right in with the changing musical tastes of the late 1990s.

1999...

button.gif (123 bytes) Durst was arrested in Minnesota for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct for allegedly kicking a security guard while onstage performing. Charges were later dismissed.
button.gif (123 bytes) Limp Bizkit performed at Woodstock '99. During the performance of "Break Stuff" many fans started destroying various structures around them as well as throwing debris and objects - eventually leading to a very unsettling concert weekend that seemed to deteriorate with each band.
