On May 7th, Eddie Rabbitt died at the age of 53 in
Nashville. Rabbitt had a portion of a lung removed 1
year ago due to a battle with lung cancer since '97.
Additional pop and country hits that made Rabbitt
famous included "You And I" (a duet with Crystal
Gayle), "Step By Step," and "Someone Could Lose A Heart Tonight" and had a total of 26 #1
songs on the country charts.
Rabbitt was survived by his wife and 2 children.
